When I went to the doctor two weeks ago, he ordered me some PT. Today was my first appointment with PT here in n North Carolina. I love the therapist! She is very confident that she can get the strength in my right leg up, along with that will come better balance. So Rock On!
She made me do all sorts of stuff to test what needs to be worked on. She thinks that strengthening the quads will help a lot, and my hip muscle and my ankle is tight. So all 3 of those things once being worked on should help my balance a lot.
She asked about a walker. I told her I didn’t want to use one yet because I am only 21 and afraid people will laugh at me. Plus don’t know how I would use a walker and a white cane. She said if I want, she will show me how but its up to me. So I guess I’ll think about it.
I found out that my neighbor watches kids. So I dropped Isaiah off with her while I went to PT. He loves her! I was surprised. He doesn’t like too many new people but he loved Miss Nikki. I went and got him after I got home and he was happy to see me. momomomomomma!
So today was just spent waiting on mountain mobility vans going and coming, sometimes I wonder why things have to be so slow. lol. Then the meeting with the PT, and then just been playing with Isaiah the rest of the day.
