This is getting rediculas! I can’t sleep these days. I go to bed and can’t go to sleep so I end up getting up and doing other things and stay up all night. By the time I get super tired it is the middle of the day and I don’t want to go to sleep because I don’t want to mess my sleeping schedule all up. So I force myself to stay awake until night, and then I fall into bed and sleep like a stone. Next day, it happens all over again. I wish I could sleep normally again.

I know this probably seems like the lamest suggestion on the planet, but there’s this tea called sleepytime tea that’s supposed to help you sleep. I took it when I was having serious sleep problems before getting my guide dog, and it did work. I could just buy it at a grocery store. It has a mixture of different herbal teas that are supposed to help with sleep, and boy do they ever.
Good luck. Not sleeping sucks in more ways than you can imagine.

Lame suggestion no. 2. Have you ever done yoga or meditation? Would that help before bed?

No, I never have been able to do the meditation thing. I jsut feel foolish. Does the tea make you groggy in the morning? That’s why I can’t take any sleepign pilsl because I need to be alert and not like I have a hang over with Isaiah around.

The first few times, I found it did not, but a couple times I have slept very deeply and felt a tad groggy when I woke up.

Hmmm. What about trying a relaxation exercise where you tense up each muscle in your body in turn as afar as you can and then release it all. Sometimes that makes me all sleepy.
