Howdie Folks! It’s been a long time hasn’t it? Well, what’s been going on with me. I moved to North Carolina about a month ago. I love it here. The city is fantastic and I have so many options to get places. I’ve been trying to find a primary care doctor to refer me to the specialists I need, and I think today I made a little bit of progress. Hopefully they call me back later today with an appointment.
Isaiah is 11 month old now. I can’t believe the time passes so quick! He’s walking now and has two teeth on bottom. Some on top are trying to come through though. My little boy is growing up so fast! I remember when they gave him to me in the the little blanket and he was so tiny it swallowed him up. *smiles* Those were the days when he didn’t move around. lol. Now he crawls and walks everywhere and gets into anything imaginable. He loves to open and slam the kitchen cabinets. He’ll be a year in August and I am trying to figure out what I want to do for his first birthday. Any ideas are welcome.
I called The Seeing Eye to get a class date, because I miss having a service dog. They told me the soonest they could get me in would be spring, but if they have any cancelations they’ll let me know. I hope they do, because I miss working with a dog. So much easier than a cane! But yet, you don’t have to take care of your cane so that’s the plus side. But I think the benefits of working with a dog far out weigh the cane.
My donate button on here was not working right since it was linked to my old email with paypal, but I updated it all and we have fixed the button now so it works again if anyone is interested in donating. And I think that is all I have to say for right now. I promise I’ll be back to write again soon.
