Hi Yvonne. I called them and left a message for them to get in contact with me on email. Yesterday his assistant emailed me and I replied with my questions. Now I am waiting to hear back from her.

The biggest thing right now is pain in my shoulder. It's been hurting for nearly two years, but it's gotten worse. The first time it started happening I thought it was because of me knitting too much and holding my shoulder a certain way.

Kept happening so finally I just stopped knitting but the problem continued. Then it would be fine again. Strange. Went to the doc and he said he thought it was bercitis but nothing to do for it. Now I find out c3 and c4 which can cause bercitis. I just want to get rid of the pain. It's hard not being able to move my right arm as much because it hurts so bad.

I guess this doctor wanted to watch your performance for awhile as he had not seen you before. If he had seen you before and now considering your spine tumor, then he can make decisions based on his past experience dealing with your case.

O would feel uncertain too, if an NF patient suddenly comes in, someone I hadn't seen before, telling me that she wants her spine tumor out.

Best to get in touch with the doctor personally and ask him why he wants things done this way, and same for every of his opinions. Instead of guessing.
